What is IVF (In Vitro Fertilisation)?
IVF or In Vitro Fertilisation is an advanced medical procedure in which the egg and sperm are made to fertilize and form an embryo outside the human body in a specialized, artificially created optimal environment. The matured embryo will then be transferred to woman’s uterus which increases the chances of pregnancy.

IVF Procedure
IVF commences with a preliminary consultation, counselling sessions, and a thorough examination which determines whether the couple are eligible to go for the treatment. The ovary is medically stimulated to have maximum number of eggs. The eggs are extracted and are fertilised using the partner’s or donor’s sperm in a test tube.
The fertilised egg or embryo is then grown in an optimal and protected environment and will take 3-5 days to develop properly which will then be transferred into the women’s uterus.
